|This maker points to a dirt road used for summer camps.
In the yard of one of the camps (on the left) is a boulder
with the inscription to Major Harmon and Frances Van
Buren, both who settled here after the Revolution and were
soldiers of the Albany County Militia. The grave site is on
LOCATION: Take Vandenburgh Point Road off of Route
30, past the intersection with Perique Road. The marker is
on the left as well as the dirt road leading to the monument.
