                            Woodworth Corners                            
     Woodworth Corners was a cluster of dwellings situated between Mayfield village
and Riceville. It was settled about 1790. The place taken its name from the Woodworth
family, the land now occupied by it having been conveyed by deed from Selah
Woodworth to W.D. Woodworth.
